Anna’s passion for immigrant rights work grew from her time spent studying abroad in Central America during college and her later experiences providing social services to unaccompanied refugee minors and rural immigrants in Eastern Washington. During law school, she has continued building her advocacy skills through work with Northwest Immigrant Rights Project, Kids in Need of Defense, and University of Washington’s Immigration Clinic and Human Rights Advocacy Seminar. Anna is eager to begin her IJC fellowship at Immigrant Defenders Law Center, where she will help provide legal advocacy for immigrant children and youth in Los Angeles.
