Watch: Representing Immigrant Children

IJC hosted a webinar on August 29 in which alumni spoke about their experiences defending the rights of immigrant children.

Now serving in leadership positions in the immigration field, former Justice Fellows Stephanie Cordero and Alexander Holtzman shared insight into building relationships with clients, overcoming challenges unique to representing children, and how they prioritize self care.

This event provided an invaluable opportunity for IJC Fellows and prospects to learn about the realities of representing immigrant children and how IJC provides tools and resources to be successful in the field.

“IJC empowers you to influence change,” Cordero said. “Aside from work in your host organization, there were a lot of opportunities to think about the larger picture and get involved in larger picture projects.”
