Audrey witnessed the systemic injustices immigrants face in the United States while volunteering at a legal clinic in Indiana, and she became determined to use the law as a catalyst for social justice. In law school she had the privilege of working with asylum-seekers through internships with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and Human Rights First, and as a student attorney in the International Human Rights Law Clinic. Audrey looks forward to continue zealously advocating for immigrants’ rights at Texas RioGrande Legal Aid in the Dilley Pro Bono Project, working with recently detained migrant women and children.
