Prioritizing public interest during law school, Chelsea spent numerous hours working on pro bono immigration cases. She volunteered primarily on cases involving removal defense and naturalization. Her most memorable experience during law school was going to the U.S./Mexico border with Drexel’s Immigration Law Society to assist with asylum cases. As an IJC Fellow with the Pennsylvania Immigrant Resource Center, Chelsea will be providing legal services to immigrant survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and other violent crimes.
