Cory’s path to IJC was heavily informed by her work with Keep Tucson Together and the Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project. Through KTT, a community-based immigration clinic, she worked with clients and their families to obtain release from immigration detention and wrote appeals to the BIA. And with FIRRP, she gained a breadth of experience in areas ranging from asylum to termination. During her Justice Fellowship, she will be working with the International Rescue Committee to provide immigration defense services to non-detained respondents in the Phoenix area.
