Before law school, Emily worked in northern Jordan with humanitarian aid and international development organizations responding to the Syrian refugee crisis. In law school, she continued to advocate for the rights of forcibly displaced individuals and communities, interning with Rian Immigrant Center and Greater Boston Legal Services, and participating in Northeastern University School of Law’s Immigrant Justice Clinic Practicum. Emily is thrilled to work as an IJC Fellow in Portland, Maine with the Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project on their Immigrant Children’s Project.
