Grace decided to attend Washington University Law School after spending time in undergrad working with youth in immigrant and refugee communities in Northwest Arkansas. At WashU she represented St. Louis residents involved in immigration matters through the Immigration Clinic and conducted research on migration at the Center for Human Rights, Gender, and Migration. She spent her second summer working at The Door in Manhattan, assisting young people in their applications for Special Immigrant Juvenile Status(SIJS). Grace is returning to The Door for her IJC Fellowship to continue representing young people in immigration proceedings throughout the five boroughs.
