Jiyoon previously worked at the Legal Aid Society of D.C. and the Public Justice Center, where she learned how legal tools can be used to challenge systemic injustice. At Northeastern University School of Law, she was part of the Immigrant Justice Clinic and interned at the Florence Immigrant & Refugee Rights Project, East Bay Sanctuary Covenant, and Make the Road New York. These experiences led her to commit to affirming the dignity of her clients as they navigate the immigration system. At Brooklyn Defender Services, she looks forward to providing a full range of immigration legal services.
