Kennedy has always had a passion for enacting change in communities of color. She holds degrees from both Spelman College and the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law. During law school, Kennedy interned with the Southern Poverty Law Center in the Southeast Immigrant Freedom Initiative, the Kentucky Refugee Ministries, and the Maxwell Street Legal Clinic. Kennedy is extremely excited to be working with Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) where she will primarily be working with individuals seeking Special Immigrant Juvenile Status.
