Lauren is passionate about providing high-quality representation to all people in immigration proceedings. During her time at Georgetown University Law Center, she represented an asylum seeker in front of an immigration judge, interned at various non-profit immigration direct services organizations, and engaged in pro bono work in her community. Lauren also co-led alternative school break trips to support organizations providing legal orientation programs in detention centers on the U.S. border. She will join the Florence Immigrant & Refugee Rights Project as an IJC Fellow, where she will represent detained adults in immigration proceedings in Southern Arizona.
