Prior to and while attending law school, Leasly interned at the Loyola Immigrant Justice Clinic (LIJC) as a summer law clerk where she trained in trauma-informed lawyering and holistic advocacy. During law school, Leasly was a part of the Removal Defense Clinic engaged in asylum claim cases. She continued her immigration work as a fellow at the Los Angeles Center for Law and Justice after graduation, engaging in providing legal services to survivors of domestic violence. Leasly will be representing unaccompanied children as a UCP Justice Fellow at Public Law Center in Santa Ana, California.
