As the child of immigrants, Lesly knew from a young age that she wanted to continue advocating for immigrants like her mother, who struggle to navigate the complex immigration system. While at Pace Law School, Lesly interned at Catholic Charities and participated in the Immigrant Justice Clinic, providing representation to low-income immigrant New Yorkers. Lesly is currently a Pro Bono Scholar at Catholic Charities working with the Liberty Defense Project Pro Bono Project. Lesly will be returning to Catholic Charities as a Justice Fellow, where she will provide representation to low-income immigrant New Yorkers in the Lower Hudson Valley.
