Prior to law school, Neena worked as a DOJ Partially Accredited Representative, where she represented immigrant clients on various immigration applications. Neena loved working in the immigration field, and because her experience exposed her to so many issues within the U.S. immigration system, she decided to go to law school to learn how she could help make a bigger difference. The IJC fellowship will help her advance this goal, and in the Fall of 2024, she will be working with Tulane Immigrant Rights Clinic and representing unaccompanied minors.
