Prior to joining IJC as a Community Fellow, Patricia worked at multiple community-based organizations that addressed gender-based violence and the rights of immigrants and workers. These experiences and the experiences of her immigrant family ground her commitment to doing work that builds towards a more equitable and just society. She draws strength from her community and the organizers and advocates who are building movements for social change. Patricia is placed at Chinese American Planning Council, which serves the needs of Chinese immigrants and working class people in NYC.
