Priscila graduated from Boyd Law with a dual-degree in law and social work. Her experience in both programs has allowed her to work with immigrant clients as a legal advocate and through addressing their basic needs. She facilitated hundreds of hours of community-service learning through her leadership in an immigrant rights student organization and spearheaded the effort which led to policy changes which ensures that legal aid nonprofits across the state of Nevada are guaranteed interpreters for pro bono cases. As an IJC fellow, Priscila will work at the UNLV Immigration Clinic, representing unaccompanied migrant children in their removal proceedings.
