IJC welcomes 2025 Justice Fellows

New York – Immigrant Justice Corps (IJC) is pleased to announce our 2025 class of Justice Fellows. At a time when immigrants, their lawyers, and due process itself are under attack, IJC is training the next generation of advocates who will bring their many skills and passion to bear on the legal representation crisis.

“These exceptional Fellows represent the future of immigration law,” said Jojo Annobil, IJC’s CEO. “Each of these Fellows bring not only legal expertise but a deep commitment to justice for immigrant communities. At IJC we understand the stakes – every case represents someone’s dreams, family, and future in America.”

Chosen for their talent and compassion, these Fellows will work with detained immigrants, asylum seekers, families, and children in need of immigration legal services.

The Fellows will serve for two years as staff attorneys at strategically selected immigrant legal services providers and community-based organizations across the country, providing legal assistance to low-income immigrants in complex immigration matters including deportation defense and affirmative applications for those fleeing persecution.

“The idea that immigrants – including children – can be deported simply because they don’t have lawyers is unthinkable,” said Annobil. “Our Fellows will ensure that every immigrant has access to counsel, which in many cases can be the difference between life and death.”
