IJC founder, Robert Katzmann, recognized with the prestigious Vilcek Prize for Excellence
Immigrant Justice Corps congratulates its founder, Robert Katzmann, on being recognized with the prestigious Vilcek Prize for Excellence for his “exemplary career in public service, as well as his commitment to broadening access to legal representation for immigrants in need.” In accepting the Vilcek Prize for Excellence, Judge Katzmann declined the cash prize.
We are deeply thankful to the Vilcek Foundation for its generous donation of $100,000 to IJC, which will play a vital role in launching the careers of young lawyers and advocates who are dedicated to ensuring due process and fairness for low-income immigrant communities.
