Abigail was inspired to pursue immigration law through her work with newly arrived refugees in Spokane, and by the stories of clients pursuing immigration relief in Minneapolis and New York City. While studying at NYU Law, Abigail worked with pro se asylum seekers at New Sanctuary Coalition, indigenous minors seeking immigration relief at Catholic Charities, and undocumented people in removal proceedings at the Legal Aid Society New York. Abigail will be working with the team representing unaccompanied minors at the National Immigrant Justice Center in Chicago, Illinois.
