Before attending law school, Casey taught English and Spanish in both Turkey and Spain. While at USC Gould, he spent his summers doing removal defense with The Esperanza Immigrant Rights Project and The Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles. He also participated in USC’s Immigration Clinic during his second year of law school. Casey is very excited to be the first IJC Fellow placed with the Innovation Law Lab in El Paso, TX where he will represent detained clients as be part of the EPIC Project team creating systemic change.
