More From IJC
The New York Times encourages its readers to invest in IJC as an organization coordinating advocacy & services at a national level.

Every year IJC hosts a summer conference where Fellows, past and present, have the opportunity to come together to connect, learn and grow in their careers as immigration lawyers and advocates.
Fourteen graduates from colleges across the country have been chosen for the prestigious Community Fellowship at IJC. The Class of 2019 is the largest cohort of Community Fellows ever accepted into the Fellowship.
“It’s hard to overstate that IJC put me on the track I’m on. IJC trained me and helped me see that this is exactly what I want to do with my life.”
We remain shocked and outraged by EOIR and their memo that falsely claims representation is of little consequence to the legal outcome of asylum cases. The work of our Fellows is invaluable within a system that seeks to demonize and marginalize the immigrant community.
